Inspected vehicle for cause of steering failure. Found the accessory belt failed, the upper idler pulley failed, and the belt tensioner damaged. >>Recommend replace belt and all pulleys. Found the front left tire has a split on the side. We installed the spsre.
Removed broken belt and damaged pulleys to replace with new. Re assemble vehicle and test for proper operation. >>>>>> Battery was very low- we charged. Coolant was mostly empty. The belt failure will cause the water pump to shut off. If vehicle was driven, engine may have overheated, boiled the coolant, and caused internal damage.
