    • Confirmed client concern. Pressure testes system by hand and found it is completely empty and will not hold pressure. Filled system with water and attempted to test again but found it still would not hold pressure. Tested system with forced air and found all water immediately left system from somewhere on the rear of the engine but could not pinpoint source of leak visually. Removed intake boots, filled system with water again, and rechecked with forced air; found rear coolant pipe is leaking along seam. Recommend completely replacing coolant pipe and seals.
    • Pressure tested and found coolant leaking from seam on rear pipe. Removed intake boots for access. Removed coolant adapter and pipe as one piece. Installed new pipe and adapted with new o-rings. Filled coolant with vacuum and test drove to verify repairs.

    • We drove the vehicle and were unable to duplicate the concern. We scanned all vehicle systems for faults and found codes stored for Bank 1 misfires on cylinders 1, 2 and 3. These codes only occurred once. We also found codes referring to a plausibility check and a low signal voltage from bank 1 boost sensor that occurred x12. We inspected the boost sensor and found an aftermarket wiring harness that leads the signal of the boost sensors into a tuning module which alters the boost sensor signals. Possibilities are: wiring, pins/connections, tuning module and the boost sensor. We performed a wiggle test on the wiring and connections and found no issue. >>Recommend to return vehicle to stock and see if the issue reoccurs and swap the boost sensors and see if the issue moves to bank 2. >>Client states that removed the tuning module from the circuits and the issue still occurred. Recommend swap sensor and see if fault code moves to bank 2.
    • Change engine oil and oil filter. Perform basic safety inspection. Lubricate and check chassis. Check air filter and cabin filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Road test vehicle. Check for additional needed services and clear service reminder as needed.
