Steering wheel vibration motor – Remove and replace
Unbolted front seat and found that it was under tension and with the bolts removed the seat will move forward and back. Found that the left and right seat tracks were not correctly synchronized. Removed cable from the left track and found it out of place and slightly worn on the end indicating that it likely became disconnected but since it has a spring, it found its way back into place. Resynchronized the tracks and reinstalled the seat and found it working properly.
Found a couple bulletins pertaining to incorrect CBS data but they did not spell out the same symptoms as we are having. Bulletins instructed sofware updates to the engine module and the instrument cluster. Performed both software updates, reset systems and checked for proper operation – OK at this time. CBS for the oil dropped from 8,000 miles to 7,000 miles. Monitor CBS values and report if issue is unresolved.

Scanned for faults and found many concerning codes stored in the transmission module. >>Recommend remove transmission pan and inspect for a broken manual valve. Remove valve body to replace manual valve if needed. If manual valve and fluid level are OK, replace transmission.
We found that the valve cover gasket is leaking badly and the valve cover plastic welds have failed as well. >>Recommend replace valve cover assembly with a new gasket.
Found manual valve broken. Removed valve body, replaced manual valve, installed with a new filter, pan gasket and connector sleeve. Filled with fluid and transmission additive, erased faults and drove – OK.
VALVE COVER – Remove & Replace –
TRANSFER CASE FLUID – Drain & Refill, reset fluid life and erase fault
Put fuel in fuel tank
Fog light bulb – remove and replace
Tail light bulb holder – remove and replace, right rear outer

Tested and confirmed customer concern. We tested and found adequate battery voltage. Starter motor not locked out for any reason. Key is identified and transmission correct EWS codes. Accessed starter and found 12v to starter motor, and good solenoid activation when key turned. >>Suspect faulty starter.
Remove engine covers and accessories necessary to access, remove, and replace diagnosed faulting starter assembly with new. Re assemble vehicle, clear related faults, and test for proper operation. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Customer recently replaced starter himself- we found the starter bolts not replaced and cross threaded. It required some extra time to remove them. Valve cover breather hose is broken near the manifold.
