- Tested and confirmed customer concern. We tested and found adequate battery voltage. Starter motor not locked out for any reason. Key is identified and transmission correct EWS codes. Accessed starter and found 12v to starter motor, and good solenoid activation when key turned. >>Suspect faulty starter.
- Remove engine covers and accessories necessary to access, remove, and replace diagnosed faulting starter assembly with new. Re assemble vehicle, clear related faults, and test for proper operation. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Customer recently replaced starter himself- we found the starter bolts not replaced and cross threaded. It required some extra time to remove them. Valve cover breather hose is broken near the manifold.
