- We listened to the engine area while running with the engine cover off and we heard a couple different ticking noises. One from the high pressure fuel injectors and another perhaps further down the front of the engine. We are not very concerned about either noise at this time. We lifted the vehicle and removed the skid plates and found the source of the sporadic non rhythmic ticking coming from the turbo charger wastegate closing quickly and with force. This is a normal operation of the vehicle. We scanned all vehicle systems for faults and there was not a single code stored in the entire vehicle. We checked the engine oil level with the cluster and it is 4/5 full. No issues came up on the inspection other that the rear brakes are down to about 4mm/30%. All easily checked fluid levels were full and in good condition.
