- Scanned vehicle for related faults and found: 002F15 Digital Motor Electronics (DME), charge air temperature Absent 003100 Digital Motor Electronics (DME), boost pressure control, deactivation Absent Tested and found good vacuum supplied and wastegate actuators operate when vacuum is applied. Suspect 3100 fault set by charge air temperature sensor intermittent failure.
- Remove engine covers and accessories necessary to access, remove, and replace charge air pressure sensor with new. Re assemble vehicle, clear related faults, and test for proper operation.
