- Scanned vehicle for related faults and found: 118002 Mixture control: fuel-air mixture too rich Intermittent 110001 Cylinder injection shutdown: pressure too low in high pressure system Intermittent Ran engine from cold to duplicate concern. We found the symptom would improve as the engine warmed up. We removed the spark plugs and inspect and found no visible concern. Suspect carbon deposits on fuel injectors causing them to leak >>Recommend replace fuel injectors and clean intake carbon.
- FUEL INJECTOR – Remove & Replace – Gas All – [Includes: walnut shell blasting the intake tracts to remove carbon.]
- FUEL FILTER – Remove & Replace – Gas
- Change engine oil and oil filter. Perform basic safety inspection. Lubricate and check chassis. Check air filter and cabin filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures. Road test vehicle. Check for additional needed services and clear service reminder as needed.
