- Scanned vehicle for related faults and found: 1.1. P164D00 Reduced oil pressure switch-Malfunction-Passive/Sporadic 1.2. P011800 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 1-Circuit High-Passive/Sporadic 1.3. P034100 Camshaft Pos.Sensor Circ.-Range/Performance-Passive/Sporadic 1.4. P001600 Crankshaft Position-Camshaft Position-Correlation Bank 1 Sensor A-Active/static We tested and determined the camshafts have jumped timing -25deg. Will need to remove, inspect, replace timing chains and related components. Engine camshaft bridge also leaking engine oil.
- Remove engine covers, front end of vehicle and necessary engine components to access, remove and replace engine timing chains, guides, and tensioners. Re assemble vehicle, clean affected areas, and test for leaks and proper operation.
- Remove engine covers and accessories necessary to access, remove, and reseal engine camshaft bridge with new. Clean affected areas and test f or proper operation.
