- Scanned vehicle for related faults and found: 006292: EKPS (Fuel Pump Control Module), control voltage too low 006293: EKPS, control current too high 002E85: BSD message, electric cooling pump missing. Removed rear seat to access fuel pump. Tested and found fuel pump current draw is too high- indicating a weak/ failing fuel pump >>Recommend replace fuel pump and related module with new. We also tested the water pump fault. Checked function, wiring, and signals-OK at this time. >Recommend replace water pump
- Remove rear seat and covers to access, remove, and replace fuel pump assembly with new. Reassemble vehicle, clean affected areas, and test for proper operation.
- Remove and replace EKP- fuel pump control module with new. Code to vehicle and verify proper operation.
- Remove and replace diagnosed leaking valve cover with new. Re assemble vehicle, clean affected areas, and test for leaks and proper operation.
- Remove and replace failing water pump with new. Include replace thermostat. Re assemble vehicle, replenish engine coolant, and bleed system. Test for proper operation.
